Uranus

I am researching Uranus a gas giant! An amazing planet that has a wonderful history. The planet is very big and it is full of gas and water. I really exited to tell you more about Uranus. It is almost impossible for me to tell you all the things about it though!. I hope you find Uranus as easy and cool to learn about as I do. With that lets begin!

Uranus is a planet with a huge atmosphere. This planet has 83% hydrogen, 15% helium, and 2% methane. That’s a lot of helium to have in one place! But they have very little methane. All this gas in the atmosphere gives this planet a green color. It looks like a giant green marble. I think It looks very pretty. Uranus Also has a unique surface.

Uranus’s surface is very different. It has no solid surface it is mostly gas and water. I guess that’s why they call it the gas giant! This made me very amazed. This is because Uranus also has a liquid core! The inner core sounds somewhat Like earths. It would be cool to see! There was also very little space craft visiting Uranus.

                Well, actually only one has reached it. It was the Apollo. I would love to see Uranus myself! That would be so cool. They found Uranus Has 2 rings and 10 moons. Isn’t that amazing! Who knew we could have more than one. I can’t believe how much there is to learn about Uranus.

                Uranus also has those moons we talked about earlier. There are 5 Moons and one large one that is 788.9 km. Isn’t that huge I think there moon is really cool. The biggest moon was found by William Hershel. He was a great guy. I can’t believe he found it. Who knew there was so much about them?!

                Who knew there were so many cool facts about Uranus? I think it’s a cool planet I would love to learn more about it. I hope you do to. It’s a cool planet with a lot of gas. It is huge and the core is liquid. Uranus also has no solid ground. That’s what makes this planet cool.

Mercury

I am doing mercury for our school project. It is a very fascinating planet It has a large atmosphere and a high temperature. Did you know it can get up to 450 Degrees! This whole paper is all about mercury s and its amazing traits and characteristics. Mercury is fascinating and a neat planet. I hope you will see it is this way! You are now entering mercury.

The planet mercury is very hot. It can get up to 450 degrees. And I think an Arizona summer day is bad think about a mercury one! I think that’s pretty hot! Odly mercury has ice at both of its poles. That’s amazing huh? I think that’s were I would live! Mercury also has other odd fetues.

Mercury actually orbits the sun from far away. Well 36 million miles away! It may seem far to you but to mercury its REALLY close. Mercury is about 4,878km across. That is actually really small. It is only a little bite larger than our moon. Mercury is also interesting in history.

Mercury has a very interesting history. Mercury was found in the mid-1960s. So mercury isn’t all that old! It is pretty young from the other planets. The Greeks had 2 different names for mercury, Apollo and hermes. How silly are those names! That’s funny. Mercury also has a surface.

The surface of mercury is mostly dry. There for no life can live on this planet. Pretty sad huh? Mercury is pretty but has no life. This planets no life is also caused by the lack of oxegen the planet has. So I cant go and survive there. I still think we could find a way.

Our planet is very different from mercury. No one fromearth could live there . Plus mercury has a VERY high temperature. Mercuy is very interesting. It is a small simple planet in out galaxie. I hope mercury is not taken out of the planet list for its small size. Mercury is very drie and still has ice on its poles! And it gets a lot os sunlight. So maybe you should learn more about mercury. It is really worth learning about!
